We would hearby like to invite you to the international summer academy entitled “Cross border cooperation and regional sustainable development in the European border areas, on the EU Immediate Neighborhood”.
The Summer Academy is taking place on 22-26 August 2010 in Värska (http://www.verska.ee/, ), Hirvemäe Holiday Center (www.hirvemae.ee), Estonia.
The summer academy will bring together around 30 participants: NGOs, but also representatives of local authorities and educational institutions, working with the cross-border cooperation practical and theoretical issues in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. Summer academy program contains academic lectures, field trips, group works, case study presentations, individual work and discussions. The summer academy helps to share ideas, information, knowledge and experiences on cross border cooperation among NGOs and other community groups.
The OSI East-East programme will cover participation costs (travel, accommodation and meals) of 20 participants from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Russia.
