On 8th of June EPICAH team had focus group meeting in Estonian-Latvian twin city Valga-Valka.

Border area development challenges and new project ideas in the field of cultural and natural heritage were discussed. Valga municipality mayor Margus Lepik stressed the importance of good working relations between border municipalities, while the excellent evidence of that is Twin Cities Valga-Valka Festival, held this week. Twin city festival includes joint art exhibition, concerts, boat race on transboundary Pedeli river, market and many more
