Educators from Räpina, Pskov and Pechory learn about innovative and participative study methods and good practices during joint study visit to Saint Petersburg

Estonia-Russian project CuNaHe study trip to St. Petersburg takes place from 23-25 October,  where teachers from Räpina Co-Educational Gymnasium, Pechory Secondary school nr 3, representatives Pskov State University and of Pskov and Tartu environmental NGOs take part.

Innovative educational centres and schools with focus on cultural and natural heritage will be visited, for example, Apelsin school ,The Universe of Water multimedia exhibition and Center of Ecology and Biology “Krestovsky ostrov”. Project partners will also make plans for the projects’ next half a year: outdoor programs  at Räpina and Pechory schools, open classes and student work competition will be organised

The study visit is organised within the project “CuNaHe: Improved network of formal and informal education institutes to support Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe-Pskovskoe region” implemented during 2019-2021. The project is lead by Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation from Estonia. From Estonian side Räpina Co-Educational Gymnasium and Tartu Center for Educational Innovation are partners. From Russian side Pechory Secondary school nr 3, Lake Peipsi Project, Pskov and University of and Pskov State University participate

Project aims to improve cross border cooperation in the field of formal and informal education institutes; focusing innovative methods and active learning in the field of common cultural and natural heritage of Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe region.
