Working group of the Estonian-Russian Joint Commission on the Protection and Sustainable Use of Transboundary Waters meets in Tallinn, June 26-28

Peipsi CTC project manager Margit Säre is presented in the work of the Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management of the Commission.The working group has in its agenda overviews on water management planning in Narva river/Lake Peipsi watershed, implementation of the plans, scientific research, the forthcoming meeting of the Joint Commission etc.

Estonian-Russian Joint Commission was formed in 1998 and this summer it meets already the 15th time, which shows a real will for cooperation from both sides to solve jointly the issues of water protection.
